Ricardo Hage de
Matos (1965) is an Adjunct Professor working in the
Production, Theory and Art Critics Program at Santa Marcelina
College School of Visual Arts, São Paulo, Brazil.
He has a bachelor in Architecture and PhD in
Interdisciplinary Studies.
Hage de Matos investigates the interactions between art and
technology through the inter and transdisciplinary theories
toward a discussion in art future and brazilian culture.
Matos works reflects those concepts using expressive
languages as video, internet art and digital photography
performing chronicles of local artists and culture.
Hage de Matos founded and coordinates some experiences in
internet art communities such as SiteEspecífico (siteespecifico.org)
and Teletransport Art (teletransport.org).
He is head too at the FASM Art and Technology Research Group.
Presently he is organizing an international virtual meeting
focusing on art and technology at TeleTransport,org.
Ricardo Hage de Matos writes for the Interdisciplinary
Studies and Research Group publication. Have texts at Videtur
magazine and PTC Art Magazine.
